WAGG is dedicated to the promotion of the adoption of retired racing greyhounds. We do not represent any given group. We represent all Greyhound adoption groups serving Southern Ontario.
We regularily organize Meet and Greets in order to introduce the public to this wonderful, but rarely seen "in person" dog. We hold Greyhound Playgroups so local dogs have an opportunity to be around other greys and to exercise. Most importantly, we provide support to area greyhound owners.

Greyhounds have a few special needs. They love to run. They love to sleep, especially on soft, fluffy beds and couches. They love to be around other greyhounds. Greyhounds play differently than others breeds. They are not "rough and tumble" dogs like Labrador Retrievers. Rather, they chase each other and jump.
We require that all greyhounds be muzzled during playgroup for their own protection. They have very thin skin and a low body fat percentage. Plastic muzzles can be purchased in a variety of colours from various adoption groups.

Most importantly, our purpose is to have fun. We hope that all greyhound owners and their hounds will join us. Please check our activities often.
